Testimonials
With graduation soon approaching, I have spent the last few months gathering and sorting pictures of my son B. I couldn’t help but to reflect on his achievements and accomplishments before and after his braces. The beautiful smile you created for B enabled him to have the self-confidence to step into many leadership roles. During his four years of high school he was involved in numerous school activities that required addressing large groups of people. I know that part of the confidence and self-esteem he needed to be successful in these roles came, in large part, from feeling good about his smile.
I also wanted to take this time to let you know that we enjoyed our relationship with you and your incredible office staff during the duration of the four sets of braces for our three sons and daughter. Initially I had some apprehension as to how I could manage to keep up scheduling and keeping appointments for all of them while working full time. I found you and your staff to be family-oriented and the seven years we spent as patients flew by without any problems. That is something I never fail to share when recommending you to other families.
I thought you might enjoy this picture to share as a success story. Thank you for everything.

Just a little note to say a BIG thank you for my braces! There are just no words to tell you how grateful I am for your kindness. I am truly amazed and am so excited to see the changes in my teeth and smile!

J and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for such a wonderful experience with M’s orthodontics. She is quite pleased with the outcome and her smile is simply beautiful. We appreciate your expertise and dedication to helping M regain such fabulously straight teeth!! Your staff was more than patient with our desires, especially hers, to complete the process as soon as possible. As I am sure you well know, a middle schooler’s body image is of the utmost importance! We look forward to repeating this adventure with C in the near future.
JS and LS, mom and dad
I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for the opportunity that you have given me to fix my smile! Before treatment I never smiled with my lips open because I was so embarassed about my front teeth, but now I do because I love my teeth! Your kindness has truly touched my heart and I am proud to say that you fixed my teeth. Also, the ladies are always so sweet to me that I actually look forward to coming in for my appointments. Thank you so much for everything—you guys are AWESOME!

Congratulations on one of the finest orthodontic research articles I have seen to date. Your approach is scholarly, beautifully documented with excellent references, and logical in every respect. The advice you are giving as a result of your findings is right in line with what I have taught for many years. I want to enthusiastically congratulate you on a superb effort. I will certainly be quoting your findings and including them in my new textbook, as they are so beautifully organized and so applicable, not only to the orthodontic specialty, but also to all areas of dental and occlusal analysis

Thank you for sharing your manuscript with me. It is an important piece of work relevant to all aspects of dentistry that have any relationship to occlusion and/or TMD.
I congratulate you on the detailed and logical perspective that you set out to analyze. Your conclusions…will be the basis for many future studies.
Your classic investigation will be utilized to add to the basis of our understanding of bite registration, condylar displacement, and occlusion.
Perhaps the most important is the observation that CR-CO discrepancies with greater LATERAL displacements are found consistent with SYMPTOMATIC patients. This has been our own clinical observation as well. Your investigation offers a scientific basis for long-held empirical beliefs.
I’m sure that many of the various centers that teach occlusion will find this study to be of immense significance.

Thank you for sending me a copy of your study. I congratulate you for a very significant research paper. I agree completely with the findings of your study.
In my opinion, dental arch and condylar position displacements have not been adequately studied. “Over my many years as a prosthodontist, I have observed from time to time, patients who appear to have an ideally corrected occlusion really have a long centric (dual bite, functional shift, slide, DAD) as far as 1 cm = 10 mm posteriorly. In fact, I have even seen situations in which surgery had to be accomplished to re-establish a proper relationship between the IP/MIC/CO and the SCP/CR. Your study will add enlightenment and should provide motivation for orthodontists and others to become more knowledgeable about the differences in occlusion as it relates to the position of the mandible.”

It is with great pleasure that I nominate Dr. Frank Cordray for the 2007 ADA Gold Medal Award. His research paper addresses a very important topic for clinicians striving to improve their accuracy in diagnosis and treatment planning and overall treatment outcomes. Dr. Cordray’s research elevates our profession by verifying the inter-relationships of the gnathic system (TM joints, teeth, skeleton, and face), thus adding value to our service.
Dr. Ron Good DMD. MS
Your study is a step forward towards the understanding of how the dental human biological system functions.
Dr. Kenley Hunt, DDS Orognathic Bioesthetics International
As you know, OBI’s (Bioesthetic Dentistry) diagnostic process demands an orthotic- stabilized condylar position with hinge-axis mounted models prior to determining the treatment options available for solving orognathic cases. Through supervised “hands on” teaching and individual practice, the faculty and students have completed well over 1000 cases in the last 12 years. Because of the substantial supportive bibliography, the huge physical sample, and your attention to detail, this study sets the baseline for the present human condition. We feel that this information is fundamental to dental system diagnostics and should be in the minds of everyone involved in interdisciplinary, comprehensive dentistry. In fact, anyone in dentistry! Anything we can do to promote this work, we will do.
